At the end of class on Tuesday, we read through Chapter One of Katherine Paterson's novel, Bridge to Terabithia. Jesse Owens spent a good part of the chapter preparing to be the fastest runner in the 5th grade. Remember that at the end of the chapter, Jesse's sister came and told him that people were moving into the old Perkin's place. Make a prediction about the rest of the book based on the information from this first chapter.
